A fixed price IVF plan to give you a live birth
– or a second treatment cycle

IVF PLUS brings the best new thinking in IVF into a treatment programme which offers participants two chances to achieve a live birth for an all-inclusive price of £4,500. (Plus HFEA fees, as applicable.)

The aim of IVF PLUS is to give each participating couple a live birth from the first cycle and, if this is not achieved, a second cycle will be provided.

The IVF PLUS programme includes: -
• All the tests and ultrasound scans required
• The complete drugs package
• 4 months supply of folic acid
• Genetic counselling
• Implications counselling
• A Mind/Body session
• Acupuncture prior to embryo transfer (optional)
• ICSI, if required
• Blastocyst culture and transfer (if feasible – see special note    below)
• A second cycle if the first does not result in a live birth
• A written treatment plan confirming all this – and the fixed price of    £4,250 plus a test package costing £250, total cost £4,500

The Rationale for IVF PLUS

IVF treatment is carried out all over the world and, every year, hundreds of new ideas are published as to how to improve the treatment process. They range from highly specialised medical and scientific concepts to ideas on stress, diet and lifestyle in general.

We have been reviewing this new thinking and selecting the best ideas to incorporate into every Bridge treatment programme. Bridge IVF PLUS represents the very latest evolution in our thinking.

We are now ready to implement 50 IVF PLUS treatment plans for a selected group of patients who meet the acceptance criteria in terms of age, BMI and test results. We will need the participants to commit to every single step of an IVF treatment programme which requires positive participation by patients, especially in terms of lifestyle and diet during treatment.

With up to two cycles available, IVF PLUS gives each participant a very good chance of a live birth. All the ultrasound scans, drugs and consultations needed throughout the treatment cycle are included in the price and the programme also includes genetics and implications counselling and a Mind/Body session. Acupuncture is included in the treatment cycle and will be offered prior to egg collection – but this is entirely at the discretion of each patient.

The programme does not include any diagnostic or therapeutic surgery, any sperm retrieval procedure or donor sperm. All these requirements, if diagnosed as necessary, are charged additionally, as per our Schedule of Fees. Registered patients have the option to decline any additional treatment offered and withdraw from the programme at no extra cost.

The IVF PLUS approach involves patients and clinicians in a true ‘team effort’ – working together to get the best-possible outcome.

This is not an experiment, nor is it research. It is a serious and important step
towards a truly holistic approach to IVF, a programme in which patients and medical team work more closely together than ever before, supporting each other and leaving no stone unturned in the effort to succeed.

The IVF PLUS programme will enable Bridge to implement this type of approach more widely in the future. It is sensible to start with younger patients and work towards more difficult cases and we will be monitoring results very carefully.
